“I grew up in a home of words, the ready exchange of ideas, classical music, good humor and love. We had spirited debates about everything from the civil rights movement to the pros and cons of watching television (I was pro-TV at the time, my parents, less so…they were right). Life was grounded in family, community, curiosity, and commitments to service and living with a sense of purpose. These things continue to motivate me today.”

“From my earliest days as a nonprofit fundraiser, I’ve been drawn to the powerful combination of mission and strategy—building relationships and bringing structure to work that matters. That early experience continues to shape my approach. Whether it’s fundraising, strategic planning, board development, or capacity building, I work alongside teams to uncover what truly drives their mission forward. The most rewarding moments are when people gain clarity, align around shared purpose, and move forward with renewed confidence.”
